Rose Hill Roadways: Telegraph Road, Beltway Closure Updates

I-495 south/west (Inner Loop) to I-395 north: Ramps closed Tuesday through Saturday nights. Traffic will be directed to continue on the Inner Loop to Exit 54A, Braddock Rd. (Route 620) west, stay to the left, follow signs to I-495 south (Outer Loop) and then signs to I-395 north.

I-395 north at I-495: Two lanes closed Sunday through Saturday nights. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.

I-495 north/west (Inner Loop) at I-395: Road closed Sunday through Saturday nights. Traffic will be directed to take Exit 170, I-395 north to Exit 2, Edsall Rd. west, stay to the right, follow signs to I-395 south and then signs to I-495 Inner Loop

I-495 north/west (Inner Loop) to Exit 169 B/A, Franconia/Springfield (Route 644) - Ramp closed Sunday - Saturday nights for bridge work.

I-495 south/west (Inner Loop) to from Exit 173, Van Dorn St. to I-395 - Four lanes closed Sunday - Saturday nights.  Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.

MAJOR CAPITAL BELTWAY NIGHT CLOSURES:

Monday, Sept. 26 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:

• The THRU lane of the Capital Beltway Outer Loop (I-95/495 North) will be closed at Telegraph Road.  Starting at 11 p.m., the middle (LOCAL) lane will also close; one LOCAL lane will remain open.

Wednesday, Sept. 28 OVERNIGHT from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:

• The right lane of the Capital Beltway Outer Loop (I-95/495 North) will be closed between Eisenhower Avenue and Telegraph Road for roadway construction.  There will be a 15-minute complete closure just after midnight

MAJOR CAPITAL BELTWAY DAY CLOSURES:

Monday, Sept. 26 and Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.:

• The left lane of the Capital Beltway Inner Loop (I-95/495 South) will be closed between Telegraph Road and the Eisenhower Connector for roadway construction.

OTHER TELEGRAPH ROAD AND RAMP DAY CLOSURES:

Saturday, Oct. 1 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.; also Monday, Sept. 26 through Thursday, Sept. 29 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

• The ramp from Telegraph Road South to the Outer Loop (I-95/495 North) will be closed for roadway construction. Detour: Motorists should take the ramp to Huntington Avenue East to U.S. Route 1 North to the Outer Loop.

Monday, Sept. 26 through Thursday, Sept. 29 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 1 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.:

• The ramp from Telegraph Road North to the Outer Loop (I-95/495 North) will be closed for roadway construction. Detour: Motorists should take Huntington Avenue East to left on U.S. Route 1 North to the on-ramp to the Outer Loop.
