EHS All Star Basketball Classic
EHS All Star Basketball Classic
On Friday, November 1st,
2013 at 7:00 pm, Edison High School will host the EHS All Star Basketball
Classic. This special event
is presented by the EHS Marketing Department, DECA, and the Sports & Entertainment
Marketing program.
This event will combine a
variety of basketball related events into one night of excitement in the main
gym at EHS! The event includes a round
robin tournament between student classes (ex. 2014 vs. 2017), a multiple event
skills competition, a slam dunk contest, and a half court shot contest, all building
up to the main event. In the main event,
the winning student class of the round robin tournament will take on the EHS
faculty in a hard fought battle of the young hotshots versus the old- timers!
“Nothing would be better than
to come out and win the round robin tournament and take on an All Star faculty
roster with "old school" skills”, says Chief Amoah, senior starting
point guard for the EHS Boys Varsity Basketball team. “It’s definitely a fun
night”.
“The Class of 2015 will make
its mark on November 1st.
Mark it down”, said Philipos Kaypaghian, general manager for the Class
of 2015.

Tickets are $3 pre-sale in
the cafeteria or $5 at the door. Seating
is general admission.
