On November 11 at 11am, come out to Marymount University's Ballston Campus to run, walk, jog – whatever form of forward motion you prefer – in the first ever Breaking Ground 5K to raise money and awareness for Many Hopes, an organization rescuing, raising, and educating a generation of children to effect positive change in Kenya.


 


Pre-register Online: $35


Register at the 5K: $45


Add an event tshirt: +$15

100% of your registration fees go directly to work on the ground.



  • Anyone planning to run/walk must register. No exceptions. The number of runners/walkers we can have on the trail at any given time is limited for safety purposes.

  • Leashed dogs are permitted and welcome!

  • Want to register by mail? Send cash or checks for $35 + optional event tshirt fee to Katie Meyer (message meyerk87@gmail.com to receive address)

What's Breaking Ground?


It's a month-long fundraiser to Breaking Ground is Many Hopes' annual month-long fundraising campaign in which we raise the majority of funding for our home and soon-to-be school. This year's goal is $300,000, and by registering for the 5K and/or helping to fundraise, you and your friends can big a big part of reaching that goal.
