Fundraiser for "Tyrus Wong:Brushstrokes in Hollywood" and the producer, Pamela Tom

Pamela Tom is the producer of the movie Tyrus Wong: Brushstrokes in Hollywood.
Tyrus Wong, now 103, is known for his art contribution to the Disney film Bambi.
To art lovers, he's a renowned painter who once exhibited with Picasso. To film buffs, he’s the visual genius behind such classic films as Bambi and Rebel Without a Cause. To Southern California beach-goers, he's the innovative kite designer whose colorful creations fill the sky. To the Chinese in America, he's a pioneer.
And to a filmmaker, he's the kind of subject one dreams of -- talented, determined, funny, and wise.
Funds are still needed to bring this film to the public, and you will get a chance to meet with Pamela Tom, and also see some clips from the documentary.
Paradiso is doing a special dinner at $45, and the tax deduction for this event is $10 per dinner.  After dinner, there will be dancing in the "smoke free" lounge until midnight.
Tickets for the dinner can be purchased through eventbrite.com...search Pamela Tom in Alexandria, VA.
If you cannot attend the dinner, you are welcome to come to the dance as donations will also be accepted that evening.
