Thomas Edison High School ‘Night on Broadway’

The Thomas Edison High School (Alexandria,
VA) Choral Department will be featuring a special “Night on Broadway,” Thursday,
Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.



      The choirs will be performing songs from “Annie
Get Your Gun,” “All American,” “Wicked,” “Spamalot,” “West Side Story,” and “You’re
a Good Man, Charlie Brown.”



   
Soloists and small groups will be also be performing popular song
selections from additional musicals: “Cinderella,” “Dreamgirls,” “Matilda the
Musical,” “Singin' in the Rain,” “Grease,” “Into the Woods,” “Les Miserables,” “The
Phantom of the Opera,” “The King and I,” “Dogfight,” “Jersey Boys,” “The Secret
Garden,” “The Sound of Music,” and “The Wizard of Oz.”

      Tickets cost $8 in advance and $10 at the
door and include a complimentary array of desserts during intermission.  Proceeds will offset the costs of the choirs
competing in a choral festival in Boston next spring. Advanced tickets can be
