Kids Sending Smiles Canned Food Drive

Please contribute to the Kids Sending Smiles food drive this Saturday from 10am-2pm at the Hayfield Giant, 7558 Telegraph Road, Alexandria, VA 22310. All food collected will be donated to the Lorton Community Action Center. The Center distributes about 8 - 11 tons of food to struggling local families every month and its food pantry shelves are nearly EMPTY! Items especially needed include: cereal; canned meat & fish; pasta and sauce; peanut butter; jelly; rice; and beans.  Kids Sending Smiles is a community service organization founded and managed by elementary school kids in Northern Virginia.
