Kingstowne Group Provides Food Baskets For Needy Families

Patch Boards let local organizations share their news and needs with the community, just like social service agency Koinonia did.

Koinonia, the Franconia-Kingstowne social services agency that provides emergency food and clothing to needy area residents, is seeking donations for Christmas food baskets.

Patch Boards are a great way to let the community know what your organization is doing and how local residents can support it. Go the Boards listing to add your news and information, or contact Community Editor Jane Lemons at jane.lemons@patch.com.

From the group's Board posting: Last year, Koinonia provided over 125 baskets of food at Christmas to needy area families, individuals, and senior citizen clients. The baskets were given out of the generosity of many, and received with thanks and delight. See how you can help this year by reading the agency's full posting on Kingstowne Patch.

Everyday, Kingstown residents, business owners and volunteers use Patch to reach their neighbors with news, events, announcements and fundraisers. Post directly to the site by visiting the Kingstown Patch boards and clicking on "What do you want to share?"
