54 Franconia Vehicles Vandalized Over Labor Day

Suspects used pellet guns to shoot out windows of cars, no injuries reported.

Police are searching for a suspect or suspects who shot 54 vehicles with a BB or pellet gun over Labor Day weekend in Franconia.

On Sunday, Sept. 4, and Monday, Sept. 5, somebody used the gun to shoot vehicles on several streets. No one was injured.

Attacked vehicles were parked on the following streets:

  • 5900 block of Ridgeview Drive
  • 5400 block of Broadmoor Street
  • 7600 and 7700 block of Hayfield Road
  • 5800 block of Helmsdale Lane
  • 6100 block of Charles Arrington Drive
  • Near the intersection of Park Village Drive and Summer Park Lane
  • 6200 block of Rose Hill Drive
  • Near the intersection of May Boulevard and Rose Hill Drive
  • 6200 block of Thornwood Drive
  • 6300 block of Willowood Lane
  • 5800 block of Westchester Street
  • Near the intersection of John Thomas Drive and Lavinus Lane
  • 6500 block of Joyce Road
  • 5500 block of Brookland Road
  • 3600 block of Franconia Road
  • 6300 block of Saddle Tree Drive
  • Near the intersection of Seatrend Way and Stagg Court
  • 6200 block of Franconia Forest Lane
  • Near the intersection of Heatherfield Lane and Kingstowne Commons Drive
  • 6200 block of Willowfield Way
  • 6000 block of Clames Drive.

Police have not released any information about suspects in the shootings. In a press release, the Fairfax County Police Department asked for the public's help finding the perpetrators:
