A car crash caused southbound traffic on Backlick Road near the Franconia-Springfield Parkway to slow this afternoon.
The crash occurred around 2:40 p.m. when one car tried to pull out of a parking lot and collided with another car near Brookfield Plaza, Fairfax County Police Department Officer M.L. Lowery said. One person was injured in the crash, although Lowery said the injuries were not life-threatening.
