Nobody was hurt but substantial damage was caused Monday morning when a driver lost control of her vehicle and smashed into a house in the Alexandria section of Fairfax County, according to news reports.
The vehicle and crashed into the house at 6324 Rose Hill Drive at about 5 a.m., according to WTOP. The vehicle slammed into the right side of the residence, causing damage in at least one room.
Speed was a factor in the crash, although officials have not yet said how fast she drove at the time of the crash, the station reported.

The driver did not live in the residence she struck, officials say.
