Christmas Eve Bank Robbery on Backlick Road

Police are looking for the suspect

A robber struck a Backlick Road bank on Christmas Eve, taking with him an undisclosed amount of money.

Around 11:13 a.m. on December 24, a black man around 20 years old entered the BB&T Bank at 4401 Backlick Road. After demanding money from the teller, he left with the money. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male around 5 feet, 8 inches tall. During the robbnery, he wore a black jacket with a collar, a gray scarf, blue jeans, dark-colored sunglasses, and a black hat.
