Driver Punched on Kingstowne Boulevard

A bottle was thrown at the victim's car.

Two drivers faced off on Kingstowne Boulevard last week, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

Around 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, a man was driving on the 5800 block of Kingstowne Boulevard when a bottle hit his car and shattered. He pulled over and confronted the driver of another vehicle.

The other vehicle's driver punched the man whose car was hit by the bottle. The police were called, but the suspect fled before police arrived.

The victim sustained a minor injury from the punch. Police did not say if the two people involved knew each other or had any personal history that would have sparked the incident.

Anyone who may have information about the assault is asked to call the Fairfax County Police Department TIPS line at (866) 411-TIPS (8477).
