Franconia District Police to Have Free Child Seat Inspections

Inspections will be Saturday, June 1.

The Franconia District Police Station will have its free child safety seat inspection from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the police station, 6121 Franconia Road.

Inspections are done on a first-come-first-serve basis. Everyone is eligible, and FCPD asks that the child seat be installed prior to the inspection. If the seat is improperly installed, police will properly re-install the seat and residents will learn how to install the seat in the future.

FCPD provides safety tips on child seats as well as other resources for child seat safety on their website.
