Man Foils Burglars in Springfield

Attempted burglary took place on March 26

A man stopped two burglars from robbing his Springfield home last week, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

Around 11 a.m. on March 26, two young men were attempting to enter a home on the 6000 block of Sagebrush Place, near Trailside Park.

The resident of the home was present and managed to stop the would-be burglars from entering the home. The two suspects fled.

Anyone who may have seen two men fleeing from the scene or have other information should call the Fairfax County Police Department TIPS line at (866) 411-TIPS (8477).

Several other burglaries occurred in the Springfield, Kingstowne, and Franconia areas last month. On March 16 and 17, homes in Bush Hill and Franconia.
