Man Arrested After Franconia Attack

Williams E. Reina-Medrano has been charged with the crime

A Burke man was arrested last week and charged with assaulting a man in Franconia.

Around 6:20 p.m. on August 29, Fairfax County police responded to an assault on the 6400 block of Fleet Drive. Williams E. Reina-Medrano, a 30-year-old Burke resident, had allegedly attacked a 41-year-old male acquaintance. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Reina-Medrano has been charged with malicious wounding.
