Men Attempt to Walk Out of Walmart With TV's

Shoplifters maced an employee when they were confronted

Two brazen shoplifters walked out of the Walmart on Kingstowne Boulevard with two televisions last week, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

Around 2:25 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, the men tried to carry out the televisions, walking right by a cashier. One Walmart employee noticed them and followed them outside.

One suspect maced the pursuing employee. Both men then fled with the stolen televisions. Police have classified the incident as a robbery.

Anyone who may have information about the theft is asked to call the Fairfax County Police Department TIPS line at (866) 411-TIPS (8477).

A similar incident occurred last month next at the Kingstowne Walmart's neighbor, Kohl's. On April 28, two teenagers who were attempting to steal shoes from the store who tried to stop them.
