Metro Police: Vandalism and Theft at Local Stations
Metro Police responded to two incidents at the Franconia-Springfield Metro Station and one incident at the Van Dorn Street Metro Station in July.
According to the Metro Transit Police blotter, the following incidents occurred at local Metro stops during the month of July:
Franconia-Springfield Station
- July 17, 3:50 p.m.-Graffiti/Vandalism
- July 31, 12:10 a.m.-Fail to Pay Established Fare
Van Dorn Street Station

Eisenhower Avenue Station
There were no incident reports listed for the Eisenhower Avenue Station in the month of July.

The , according to a March report from WMATA detailing reported crime in 2011. Thirty-two crimes were committed at the station in 2011. Eisenhower Avenue is among the five safest Metro stations in the system.
