Pellet Gun Attacks Damage Estimated at $15,000

Crime Solvers posts reward for information leading to culprits

Fairfax County police have estimated that Labor Day weekend shooting attacks on cars in Franconia caused around $15,000 in damage, according to a department press release.

The news comes four days after the first attack, on Sunday. Throughout Sunday and Monday, one or more people . For a list of the targeted streets, click here

As of Wednesday, police had not released any description of the suspect.

Crime Solvers is also offering between $100 and $1,000 for information that helps solve the crime. From a Fairfax County Police Department press release:

"Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Solvers by phone at 1-866-411-TIPS(8477), e-mail at www.fairfaxcrimesolvers.org or text “TIP187” plus your message to CRIMES(274637). A $100 to $1,000 cash reward will be paid for information that leads to an arrest. As always, callers never have to give their names or appear in court."
