Police Arrest Kingstowne Bank Robbery Suspect

Angela Marie Roselee Fitzhugh-Hill has been charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of making threats to bomb

Fairfax police have arrested a suspect in the recent robberies of Kingstowne and Springfield credit unions. 

Angela Marie Roselee Fitzhugh-Hill, of the 3400 block of Holly Hill Road in Alexandria, was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of threats to bomb.

Fitzhugh-Hill is accused of : one in Kingstowne on July 15, and one in Springfield Plaza on July 29.

Around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, a Fairfax County Police Department officer noticed a 1997 Buick LeSabre, a car connected to the robberies, in the parking lot of Beacon Mall at the 6700 block of Richmond Highway. Officers and robbery detectives surveilled the car, and waited for its owner.

When Fitzhugh-Hill, who works at a nearby business, approached the car, she was arrested. Police transported her to the Adult Detention Center.
