Police Arrest Suspect in Bush Hill Burglaries

Rafael Hernandez, 26, was taken into custody near Brookview Court

Fairfax County Police arrested Rafael Hernandez, the suspect in three Burglaries in the Bush Hill area, on Friday, May 6.

Hernandez was taken into custody around 10 a.m. in the area of Brookview Court and Brookview Drive. Several citizens recognized Hernandez from the  the FCPD distributed on Thursday. 

The citizens called the Department of Public Safety Communications around 9:30 a.m. and officers were dispatched to make the arrest. Hernandez was arrested without incident and taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

He is charged with three counts of burglary and three counts of grand larceny. 

Police would like to thank the citizens who called the non-emergency hotline, allowing officers to make an arrest.
