Egging - On April 19, a man reported that his home on the 5100 block of Ballycastle Circle had been egged for the fourth time. A woman on the same block reported that her house had been egged too.

Tools Stolen - A man returned to his vehicle on the 8000 block of Topper Court to find the passenger-side door busted open. A cordless drill, GPS, and a hand tool had been stolen.

Car Punched at Red Light - On April 20, a driver stopped at a light left his car and punched in another vehicle's driver side window.

Larceny, 6900 BLOCK OF TRESTLE CT, 4/17/11. An individual returned to her vehicle to find that it had been ransacked; her hands-free device was stolen.

Larceny, 6900 BLOCK OF TRESTLE CT, 4/17/11. An individual returned to his vehicle to find that his GPS had been stolen.

Larceny, 6900 BLOCK OF TRESTLE CT, 4/17/11. An individual found that both vehicles in her driveway had been broken into; money was stolen.

Destruction of Private Property, 6000 BLOCK OF JOUST LN, 4/18/11. An argument between two individuals resulted in a remote being thrown at a television, which left a hole in the television screen.

Robbery, 5800 BLOCK OF KINGSTOWNE BLVD, 4/18/11. Three individuals were approached by a male suspect who demanded money, claimed that he had a weapon, and threw one of the individuals to the ground. After the three individuals produced the cash from their wallets, the suspect told them that he was joking.

Destruction of Property, 6500 BLOCK OF GRANGE LN, 4/19/11. Graffiti was reported behind a condominium development.

Destruction of Private Property, 5100 BLOCK OF BALLYCASTLE CIR, 4/19/11. An individual reported that his home had been egged for the fourth time.

Destruction of Private Property, 5100 BLOCK OF BALLYCASTLE CIR, 4/19/11. An individual reported that her neighbor’s home has been egged numerous times and sometimes the eggs hit her driveway or siding.

Destruction of Private Property, 6500 BLOCK OF BROOKLEIGH WAY, 4/19/11. An individual returned to his vehicle to find that a red-colored substance had been thrown onto the vehicle.

Destruction of Private Property, 6200 BLOCK OF ROSE HILL DR, 4/19/11. A fence plank was broken and a small fire had been ignited.

Drugs, ALFORTH AVE / BEULAH ST, 4/19/11. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Larceny, 7200 BLOCK OF WORSLEY WAY, 4/19/11. An individual reported that his company truck was broken into and entry was made by forcing the door lock out on the front, passenger-side door.    Battery cables were cut, the dashboard was removed, and several items were stolen.

Larceny, 8000 BLOCK OF TOPPER CT, 4/19/11. An individual returned to his vehicle to find that the passenger-side door had been busted open. Hand tools, a cordless drill, and a GPS had been stolen from the vehicle.

Drugs, 7000 BLOCK OF MANCHESTER BLVD, 4/20/11. An individual was determined to be intoxicated and in possession of marijuana.

Drugs, 5000 BLOCK OF TREETOP LN, 4/20/11. An individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Fraud, 5900 BLOCK OF KINGSTOWNE TOWNE CTR, 4/21/11. An individual accidentally left his wallet in a restaurant booth; one charge was made on his debit card.

Larceny, 6000 BLOCK OF KINGSTOWNE VILLAGE PKWY, 4/21/11. An individual reported that his credit card and some cash were stolen from his gym bag. Purchases were made on the credit card.

Destruction of Private Property, 6000 BLOCK OF CURTIER DR, 4/22/11. An individual opened the lock box that she keeps in her closet and found that the hinges had been damaged. No sign of forced entry; nothing appeared to be missing.

Larceny, 5800 BLOCK OF KINGSTOWNE CTR, 4/22/11. An individual accidentally left her purse in a dressing room. Upon returning to the room, cash was missing from her wallet.

Tampering, 6500 BLOCK OF RIEFTON CT, 4/22/11. An individual reported that his vehicle had been broken into; several items had been stolen from the glove compartment and center console.

Robbery, 5900 BLOCK OF KINGSTOWNE TOWNE CTR, 4/23/11. An individual was approached by two male suspects, who stole his cell phone.

 

Rose Hill/Franconia

Larceny, 6500 BLOCK OF LOISDALE RD, 4/17/11. An individual reported that her iPod and Zune were stolen from her hotel room.

Larceny, 6600 BLOCK OF SPRINGFIELD MALL, 4/18/11. A suspect attempted to steal merchandise from a department store without paying.

Larceny, 6100 BLOCK OF DEW GRASS DR, 4/18/11. An individual returned to his vehicle to find the driver’s side door ajar; several tools were missing.

Larceny, 6500 BLOCK OF LOISDALE CT, 4/18/11. An individual reported that a digital camera had been stolen from an office.

Larceny, 6500 BLOCK OF FRONTIER DR, 4/19/11. An individual attempted to take two Blu-Ray DVDs from a store without paying.

Larceny, 3700 BLOCK OF FRANCONIA RD, 4/20/11. An individual reported that her construction debris had been stolen from her home.

Larceny, 6500 BLOCK OF GILDAR ST, 4/20/11. An individual reported that he left his iPhone on a bench for a few moments and returned to find it stolen.

Larceny, 6500 BLOCK OF GILDAR ST, 4/20/11. An individual reported that he left his iPod Touch on a bench for a few moments and returned to find it stolen.

Larceny, 6600 BLOCK OF SPRINGFIELD MALL, 4/20/11. An individual attempted to take items from a store without paying for them.

Burglary, 5900 BLOCK OF CROWN ROYAL DR, 4/21/11. An individual’s home had been broken into and the front door had been kicked in.

Larceny, 6100 BLOCK OF DARLEON PL, 4/22/11. Several individuals were stopped and were in possession of multiple GPS units and items that indicated theft from vehicles.

Unauthorized Use of an Automobile, 6200 BLOCK OF TRACI JOYCE LN, 4/22/11. Officer came upon an unoccupied vehicle in the middle of the road with a door ajar. After speaking with the owner, officer learned that a suspect had found the spare key and driven the vehicle from the owner’s driveway.

 

East Springfield

Destruction of Private Property, 7000 BLOCK OF BEVERLY LN, 4/17/11. Individual discovered that his home had been egged the previous night; he explained that this had happened several times.

Larceny, 6300 BLOCK OF SPRINGFIELD PLZ, 4/17/11. An individual’s wallet was stolen from a purse, which was left unattended, at a grocery store.

Larceny, 6400 BLOCK OF SPRINGFIELD PLZ, 4/17/11. An individual attempted to leave a store without paying for an item.

Destruction of Private Property, 7800 BLOCK OF LAKE ACCOTINK ACCESS RD, 4/18/11. A park manager reported that an unknown suspect had damaged an AED machine. The machine was taken from the main pavilion and left damaged near the shoreline.

Destruction, 7500 BLOCK OF ACCOTINK PARK RD, 4/20/11. An individual reported two individuals walking away from an area where graffiti had just been sprayed.

Larceny, 7100 BLOCK OF HEALY DR, 4/20/11. An individual returned to her vehicle to find that her GPS unit, several CDs, and vehicle paperwork were stolen.

Destruction of Private Property, 6000 BLOCK OF BACKLICK RD, 4/22/11. An individual returned to her vehicle to find the driver’s side rear window smashed out.

Drugs, 6300 BLOCK OF SPRINGFIELD PLZ, 4/22/11. An individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Drugs, 6800 BLOCK OF SPRINGFIELD BLVD, 4/23/11. An individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Illegal Possession of Alcohol by a Minor, 6200 BLOCK OF BACKLICK RD, 4/23/11. Following a traffic stop, one minor was found to have been driving under the influence of alcohol; the two passengers were found to be in possession of alcohol.

 

Annandale/Bren Mar

Destruction of Private Property, GROVE MILL RD / VINCENT GATE TER, 4/20/11. While stopped at a light, an angry driver exited his vehicle and punched in another individual’s driver side window.

Illegal Possession of Alcohol by a Minor, 7300 BLOCK OF HUSKY LN, 4/20/11. An individual reported that her two sons had arrived home intoxicated.

Larceny, 6500 BLOCK OF MAJOR ST, 4/20/11. An individual returned to his parking space to find his vehicle stolen; items in the back of the van totaled around $6,000.

Larceny, 6400 BLOCK OF EDSALL RD, 4/22/11. An individual returned to his vehicle to find that his driver’s side mirror had been stolen.

Disorderly Conduct, 4400 BLOCK OF JOHN MARR DR, 4/23/11. An employee and a customer began arguing aggressively.

 

Lorton

Destruction of Private Property, 9800 BLOCK OF HAGEL CIR, 4/17/11. Rocks were thrown through the widow of an individual’s home.

Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, 9100 BLOCK OF MARIE CT, 4/17/11. An individual reported that her cousin had taken her vehicle without her permission.

Tampering, 9300 BLOCK OF RICHMOND HWY, 4/18/11. The rear passenger tire on an individual’s vehicle was slashed.

Destruction of Private Property, 9500 BLOCK OF SHEPHERD HILLS DR, 4/21/11. An individual reported that a suspect had thrown a rock through her kitchen window.

Larceny, 7300 BLOCK OF LOCKPORT PL, 4/22/11. An individual reported that diesel fuel had been stolen from the tank of one of his company’s vehicles for the fifth time.
