Police had responded to a call reporting a suspicious death around 10:21 a.m. Friday. Kweder was apprehended about 5 miles from the scene of the crime Friday afternoon, according to MPO Eddy Azcarate.

Kweder is a resident of the home where the victim was found. PFC Bud Walker described the victim as an adult male. FCPD still has not identified the victim at this time.

Some neighbors didn't know what happened, and were trying to find out more information from officers on the scene. Pat Brooke, who moved into the neighborhood about 6 weeks ago, said he asked one of the officers what was happening when he drove onto the street and they told him there was nothing for him to worry about.

"I have 14-month-old twins. I went to rake the backyard and saw the helicopters and thought, 'This has to be serious,'" he said.

Earlier Friday morning, FCPD blocked the street, not allowing cars to come into the crime scene area. Walker said the officers were also questioning possible witnesses and talking to neighbors to find out if they saw or heard anything at the time of the crime.
