Police Identify Pedestrian Killed on Franconia Road

The victim's next of kin has been notified.

According to FCPD, the pedestrian who was struck and killed on Franconia Road on the afternoon of Oct. 9 has been identified as Juliana Hudson-Nichols, 35, of no fixed address.

Preliminary investigation of the accident showed that Hudson-Nichols was crossing the street near the on-ramp for I-395/I-95, not in a crosswalk, around 2 p.m. last week Wednesday when a 2002 Ford pickup struck and killed her.

Police have officially notified Hudson-Nichols' next of kin about the fatal accident.
