Police Investigating Convenience Store Robbery in Springfield

Two suspects robbed the 7-Eleven on Old Keene Mill Rd Saturday night.

Fairfax County police are currently investigating a robbery that occurred around 9:10 p.m. Saturday at 7-Eleven located at 7225 Old Keene Mill Rd. in Springfield.

According to a police news release, two men entered the store and one displayed a handgun and the other suspect took cash from the drawer. The suspects then fled on foot. No one was injured at the time of the incident.

One suspect was described as black, 20s, about 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet 1 inch tall and wearing a red hooded shirt. The other suspected was described as black, 20s, about 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and wearing a dark shirt.
