Police: Maryland Man Arrested for Assault on Franconia Road

The latest weekly crime report from the Franconia District Police Station. Any arrests do not indicate conviction.

The following items are from the recent weekly activity report from the Franconia Police District of the Fairfax County Police Department.

Assault (red on map), 2:20 a.m., June 23, 6100 block of Franconia Road, Officers responded for a fight call. They located a 31-year-old man with multiple lacerations to the face. Allegedly, Ottoniel Arana Aguirre, 29, of Maryland, cut the victim with a bottle. Arana Aguirre was charged with malicious wounding and being drunk in public.

  • 6500 block of Frontier Drive, perfumes from business

  • 5300 block of Jesmond Street, guns from residence
  • 5700 block of Kingstowne Boulevard, pants from business
  • 5800 block of Kingstowne Boulevard, merchandise from business
  • 7400 block of Spring Village Drive, jewelry from residence
Stolen Vehicles (green on map):
  • 5800 block of Clapham Road, 2013 Dodge Ram 1500
  • 6200 block of Farrington Avenue, 2005 Chevrolet
  • 3200 block of Sharon Chapel Road, 2005 Chevy Tahoe
