Police: Money, Tools, Vehicles Reported Stolen in Kingstowne, Springfield

The latest daily activity report provided by the Fairfax County Police Department on Oct 7. Mentioned arrests do not indicate convictions.

The following are incidents reported in the Franconia District according to the Fairfax County Police's daily activity report, released Monday.

Larcenies (red on map):

  • 6600 block of Bowie Drive, money from vehicle
  • 7200 block of Commerce Street, purse from business
  • 6000 block of Craig Street, tools from vehicle
  • 7600 block of Fallswood Way, wallet, laptop and items from vehicle
  • 6600 block of Frontier Drive, cell phone from residence
  • 5700 block of Kingstowne Boulevard, merchandise from business
  • 5800 block of Kingstowne Boulevard, purse from business
  • 6100 block of Mclendon Court, tools from vehicle
  • 6400 block of Rockshire Court, equipment from vehicle
  • 6900 block of Villa del Rey, items from business
Stolen Vehicles (blue on map):
  • 5700 block of General Washington Drive, 2013 Ford Econoline
Police are also investigating a fatal crash that happened in the Van Dorn area Sunday morning. Two were killed, and one seriously injured during the incident.

In the preliminary investigation, police determined that speed was a factor in the accident. Law enforcement continue to investigate to determine whether alcohol was also a factor in the car crash.
