Police Report: Bomb Threat in Kingstowne

Robbery: On April 8, a person carrying a bag of checks and money at Springfield Plaza was approached by a suspect carrying what seemed to be a semiautomatic pistol. The person carrying the gun stole the bag of checks and money and fled the scene.

Stolen Koi Fish: On April 4, 26 koi fish were stolen from a home in Kingstowne at a home in the 6700 block of Morning Ride Circle.

Bomb Threat: On April 6, a bomb threat was made over a walkie-talkie at a business in the 5800 block of Kingstowne Boulevard.

Rose Hill and Franconia

Larceny: On April 3, an individual returned to her vehicle on the 5700 block of Heritage Hill Court to find that it had been ransacked and a GPS device had been stolen from the center console.

Drugs: On April 4, following a traffic stop at Javins Drive and Ridge View Drive, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Destruction of Private Property:  On April 5, an individual reported that the door of a foreclosed house on the 6500 block of Summerton Way was unsecure, dogs were living in the house and a note was left on the kitchen counter.

Larceny: An individual reported that his gym bag was stolen from his vehicle on the 6000 block of Chicory Place. The individual was unsure as to whether he had locked his vehicle.
