Every week, the Franconia District Police Station releases a report of the major incidents that occur in the district, which includes the greater Rose Hill area, from the previous week. Here are the incidents that occurred from September 1 to September 7.

Burglary

A home in the 5600 block of Governors Pond Circle was burglarized around 6:37 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3. An investigation determined entry was forced through a door and money and a broom were missing. The suspect was described as black, in his mid 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a slim build and afro-style hair. He was wearing a blue shirt.
Vehicle Thefts

A 2000 Toyota Sienna was reported stolen from the 6200 block of Bernard Ave.
A 2000 Suzuki was reported stolen from the 6200 block of Edsall Road.
Larcenies
Decals were stolen from a vehicle on the 6100 block of Franconia Road.
Credit cards were stolen from a vehicle on the 6100 block of Franconia Road.
A purse was stolen from a business on the 6300 block of Springfield Mall.
Beer was stolen from a business on the 6900 block of Telegraph Road.
