Police Report: Dodge Intrepid Stolen at Springfield Mall

Burglary at Springfield residence and more.

Every week, the Franconia District Police Station releases a report of the major incidents that occur in the district, which includes the greater Rose Hill area, from the previous week. Here are the incidents that occurred from Sept. 29 to Oct. 5. Keep in mind that these are reported incidents. A crime did not necessarily occur.

Burglary

Police arrested two men for attempting to burglarize a home in the 6500 block of Lovingston Circle around 10:17 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4. Kevin S. Krupp, 25, of 7806 Ballston Court in Springfield, and James A. Tate, 24, of 8063 Tributary Court in Springfield, were each charged with burglary.

Vehicle Thefts

A Dodge Intrepid was reported stolen from the 6500 block of Springfield Mall.

Larcenies

A GPS was stolen from a vehicle on the 5200 block of Ballycastle Circle.

Tools were stolen from a vehicle on the 5800 block of Kingstowne Boulevard. 

An iPhone was stolen from a business on the 5800 block of Kingstowne Center.

A purse was stolen from a business on the 5900 block of Kingstowne Towne Center.

Cash was stolen from a business on the 6700 block of Telegraph Road. 

A sign was stolen from a residence on the 5600 block of Vine Street.
