Police Report for October 20-27
A summary of last week's criminal activity in the Rose Hill area.
Every week, the Franconia District Police Station releases a report of the major incidents that occur in the district, which includes the greater Rose Hill area, from the previous week. Here are the incidents that occurred from Oct. 20 - Oct. 27. Keep in mind that these are reported incidents. A crime did not necessarily occur.
Body Found:
On the morning of Wednesday, October 27, police responding to a call discovered the dead body of a 61-year-old man near a bus stop at Old Franconia Road and Gildar Street. He is believed to have died of natural causes.

UPDATE - Murder/Arrest:
Police a 15-year-old teenage male and charged him with the murder of 18-year-old Rose Hill resident Wyatt Campbell earlier in October. His preliminary hearing in Fairfax County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court is scheduled for November 16 at 1:30 p.m.

Larcenies:
A wallet was stolen from a business on the 5200 block of Franconia Road.
A birth certificate and social security card were stolen from a vehicle on the 5800 block of Lebanon Road.
