Police Report: Indecent Liberties Arrest, Reckless Handling of Gun

Every week, the Franconia District Police Station releases a report of the major incidents that occur in the district, which includes the greater Rose Hill area, from the previous week. Here are the incidents that occurred from Sept. 22 to Sept. 28. Keep in mind that these are reported incidents. A crime did not necessarily occur.
Indecent Liberties with a Minor/Arrest
On September 22, police charged Lee Betton, 62, of 5202 Leeward Lane, with taking who was in a custodial relationship with him.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm
A man inside a car in the 7000 block of Manchester Boulevard around 2 a.m. on Sunday, September 25. He was driven to the hospital and treated for non life-threatening injuries.

Vehicle Thefts
A motorized scooter was reported stolen from the 5900 block of Highdale Circle.
A 2000 Honda Civic was reported stolen from the 5600 block of Maxine Court.
A 1999 Dodge Intrepid was reported stolen from the 6500 block of Springfield Mall.
Larcenies
Tools were stolen from a residence on the 5500 block of Burgundy Place.
A wallet was stolen from a vehicle on the 6100 block of Franconia Road.
A credit card was stolen from a business on the 6100 block of Franconia Road.
License plates were stolen from a vehicle on the 6100 block of Franconia Road.
A radio was stolen from a vehicle on the 6500 block of Springfield Mall.
