Every week, the Franconia District Police Station releases a report of the major incidents that occur in the district, which includes the greater Rose Hill area, from the previous week. Here are the incidents that occurred from October 20 to October 26. Keep in mind that these are reported incidents. A crime did not necessarily occur.
Robbery/Arrest
of his cell phone in the area of Deepford Street and Frontier Drive around 1:40 p.m. on Saturday, October 22. The suspect was taken to the juvenile detention center and charged with robbery. The victim was not injured.

Abduction/Stolen Automobile
Police are searching for the public’s help that took place in the 7500 block of Murillo Street on Sunday, October 23 around 4 p.m. A 2006 Honda Pilot left with its engine running and a sleeping 2-year-old boy in the back seat, was stolen while his mother briefly stepped inside a home. As she returned to the car, she saw it being driven down the street. Neighbors and police found the car and the unharmed child abandoned nearby at the intersection of Backlick Road and Leesville Boulevard within minutes of the report. The suspect is described as a white male wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.

Vehicle Thefts
A 2001 Honda Civic was reported stolen from the 6400 block of Edsall Road.
A Chevrolet Impala was reported stolen from the 6300 block of Gravel Avenue.
A Honda Pilot was stolen from the 7500 block of Murillo Street.
Larcenies
Cell phones were stolen from a business on the 5600 block of Franconia Road.
Cash was stolen from a business on the 5600 block of Franconia Road.
Cash was stolen from a residence on the 3400 block of Sharon Chapel Road.
A purse was stolen from a residence on the 6300 block of Still Spring Place.
