Police Report: Theft from Church, Damaged Mailboxes

Here are the incidents that were included in the Franconia District Crime Summary for the week of June 24-30: 

Police Service Area 610

• Destruction of Property, 7400 Block of BATH ST, 6/24/12. A vehicle was damaged while the owner was sitting in the front seat.
• Larceny, 5800 Block of BACKLICK RD, 6/24/12. Cash was stolen from a lockbox at a church.
• Destruction of Property, 5800 Block of AMELIA ST, 6/25/12. A piece of asphalt was thrown at an unattended vehicle causing damage to the window.
• Destruction of Property, 6000 Block of BACKLICK RD, 6/26/12. The windshield and two front windows were damaged on a vehicle.
• Embezzlement, 6700 Block of INDUSTRIAL RD, 6/26/12. Cash was stolen by an employee.
• Larceny, 6500 Block of BACKLICK RD, 6/26/12. Recyclable cooking oil was stolen from a restaurant.
• Fraud, 6300 Block of BACKLICK RD, 6/27/12. Two fraudulent withdrawals from a bank account were reported by an individual.
• Larceny, 7200 Block of COMMERCE ST, 6/28/12. An unattended wallet was stolen from the counter of a store.
• Larceny, 6900 Block of ESSEX AVE, 6/28/12. Cash was stolen from a residence while hired workers were performing work inside.
• Destruction of Property, 7100 Block of BONNIEMILL LN, 6/30/12. A mailbox to a residence was damaged.
• Destruction of Property, 7200 Block of BONNIEMILL LN, 6/30/12. Numerous mailboxes were damaged.
• Larceny, 6400 Block of BACKLICK RD, 6/30/12. Attempted shoplifting. 

 Police Service Area 620

• Larceny, 5700 Block of SABLE DR, 6/24/12. Property was stolen from the garage of a residence.
• Destruction of Property, 6000 Block of FRANCONIA FOREST LN, 6/25/12. A mailbox to a residence was reported damaged.
• Larceny, 6400 Block of LOISDALE RD, 6/25/12. Front grills were stolen from four vehicles.
• Motor Vehicle Theft, 6700 Block of METROPOLITAN CENTER DR, 6/29/12. A motorcycle was stolen from a parking lot.
• Motor Vehicle Theft, 6000 Block of ARCHSTONE WAY, 6/29/12. A motorcycle was reported stolen from a parking lot.
• Drug Violation, 6100 Block of FRANCONIA RD, 6/30/12. An individual was found to be in possession of drugs.
• Motor Vehicle Theft, 6700 Block of COMMERCE ST, 6/30/12. A vehicle was reported stolen from the parking lot. 

Police Service Area 630

• Larceny, 6600 Block of TELEGRAPH RD, 6/24/12. An unattended backpack was stolen from the swim area of a park.
• Larceny, 5800 Block of KINGSTOWNE BLVD, 6/25/12. Two license plates were stolen from a vehicle.
• Destruction of Property, 5600 Block of KING CENTRE DR, 6/26/12. Two windows to a residence were broken using rocks.
• Larceny, 7500 Block of WEXFORD PL, 6/26/12. A plant was removed from the ground and stolen.
• Motor Vehicle Theft, 6900 Block of HAMILTON CT, 6/27/12. A vehicle was stolen from a parking lot.
• Larceny, 6600 Block of TELEGRAPH RD, 6/30/12. The passenger-side window of a vehicle was smashed.
