38 Vehicles Vandalized in Rose Hill; Police Seeking Suspects

Damage to vehicles estimated at $7,600

The Fairfax County Police Department and Fairfax County Crime Solvers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the persons responsible for vandalizing at least 38 vehicles in the Rose Hill area in one night.

According to a release, during the late evening hours of Wednesday, June 15 into the early morning hours of Thursday, June 16, the suspects used a blunt object to damage and break the side view mirrors on parked vehicles on several neighboring streets.

Affected streets include: Picot Road, Norton Road, Craft Road, Javins Drive, Larpin Lane, Towanda Road, High Meadow Road, Heatherwood Drive, Westchester Street, La Vista Drive, Clouds Mill Drive, Hopark Drive, Old Rolling Road and Apple Tree Drive.

According to the release, damage to the vehicles is estimated to be at least $7,600.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Solvers by phone at 1-866-411-TIPS(8477), e-mail at www.fairfaxcrimesolvers.org or text “TIP187” plus your message to CRIMES(274637). A $100 to $1,000 cash reward will be paid for information that leads to an arrest.
