Springfield Mall Settles Bobbie Bosworth Lawsuit

Bobbie Bosworth's husband will receive $2.5 million from Springfield Mall and others involved in a lawsuit after her abduction and death in 2008.

The owners of the Springfield Mall settled a lawsuit with the husband of Bobbie Bosworth, a woman from Alexandria who was abducted from the mall and killed in 2008, according to the Washington Post

WUSA9 reported that two men forced her to use her ATM card at PDQ Mini Mart in Woodbridge and then crashed her car while fleeing the scene, killing Bosworth. One of the suspects was also killed.

The Post reports that her husband, Tom, will receive $2.5 million from the owner of the mall, Vornado Realty Trust, and its insurers, as well as the owners of PDQ Mini Mart. State Farm also paid $100,000 in an earlier settlement.
