Springfield Man Pleads Guilty in Child Pornography Charges

About 330 videos and more than 700 still images were found on the man's home computer.

Andrew Choi, 35, of Springfield, recently admitted to convincing juveniles to perform sexual acts online while he recorded videos of them, reported Fairfax Times.

About 330 of these videos along with more than 700 still images were found on Choi's home computer.

Court documents show that Choi engaged in video chats with at least ten boys under the age of 18 between May 2012 and January 2013. Fairfax Times reports that the underaged boys performed sexual acts while Choi used a screen capturing program to record them. In one video, court documents state that a young boy from Virginia identified himself as being 12 years old.

Choi pleaded guilty Friday in federal court to two counts of production of child pornography. Choi will be sentenced on Jan. 24, and he faces 15 to 30 years in prison.
