A police officer pulled over a red pickup truck in the Winslow neighborhood yesterday. I was just wondering if that could have been the guy bothering these kids, or if he fit the physical description the kids gave. Either way, it was nice to see the officers out there protecting our children. :) A big thanks to all of you.

A similar incident also happened in the Newington Station community back on Dec. 2 in the morning. Same red pick up truck and he tried talking to several kids walking to the bus stop alone, and when he saw an adult turn the corner he pulled a u-turn in the road and sped away. We notified Fairfax County police and also school security, who came out that afternoon to the bus stop & have been wonderful to deal with.

Would like to know if the police have checked out the red pickup on Poplar Drive. The guy fits the physical description of the person and the vehicle.
