Two Men Charged with Springfield Vehicle Break-Ins

Suspects are charged with petit larceny and vehicle tampering

Two area men have been charged with breaking into vehicles in Springfield earlier this month. 

Around 2:30 a.m. on November 4, police arrested Joseph L. Newton, 20, and Michael B. Hamm, 18, for allegedly breaking into two vehicles near Supreme Court and Villa Park Road, near Backlick Road. 

Newton, a resident of the 7000 block of Springfield's Spring Garden Drive, and Hamm, a resident of the 3700 block of Franconia Road in Rose Hill, have been charged with two counts of vehicle tampering and two counts of petit larceny.
