Captain Jim Baumstark, commander of the Franconia District Station and Springfield Supervisor Jeff McKay spoke to around 250 residents at a community meeting Thursday night at Crestwood Elementary School in Springfield about the series of 22 reported assaults that have taken place in the Springfield area from Sept. 7 up until the last reported incident March 13.
