Video of Kingstowne Bank Robbery Released

Suspect slides note to teller to demand money

Fairfax County police have released security footage of the July 15 robbery of a Kingstowne credit union.

In the video, a woman enters the Apple Federal Credit Union at 6831 Sir Viceroy Drive. She slides a note across a counter to a teller. The cashier begins counting out some money and hands it to the robber, who then walks out of the credit union.

From the video, it seems as though customers inside the credit union didn't know there was a robbery going on. One man leaving the credit union in front of the suspect even holds the door open for her.
