UPDATE (Friday, 10:08 a.m.): Fairfax County officials have re-opened Telegraph Road in both directions. The water main break has been fixed.
UPDATE (Friday, 9:15 a.m.): The water main break reported this morning by Fairfax County has been fixed, and crews are hoping to complete their work this morning, between 10 to 11 a.m.
Several Fairfax Water trucks responded to the break. There is no impact on drinking water, according to Fairfax Water. They report today's break was minor.

According to a Fairfax County emergency alert message, Telegraph Road is closed in both directions this morning between Wilton Road and Sharon Chapel Road due to a water main break.
The break is less than half a mile south of Franconia Road (see map).
The closure could last hours as crews repair the water main and remove water from the roadway. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
This is the second water main break in the area in less than a month in that area. On May 27, a between Wilton Road and Franconia Lane.
