Fairfax County's Labor Day Trash Collection Schedule
Fairfax County will collect trash and recycling as normally scheduled on Labor Day.
Fairfax County announced that trash and recycling will be collected on Labor Day as normally scheduled for customers with collection service from the county on Mondays. All items for collection should be at the curb by 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3.
The Recycling and Disposal Centers at 4618 West Ox Road in Fairfax and 9850 Furnace Road in Lorton will also be open.
The administrative office, however, will be closed for Labor Day. It will reopen at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 4.
