Franconia Sinkhole Could Be Repaired in November

VDOT has funding for the project, supervisor says.

A Franconia sinkhole that  will likely be repaired in November, says Lee District Supervisor Jeff McKay (D). 

After speaking with McKay,  that the Virginia Department of Transportation has funding to repair the damaged portion of Valley View Drive. McKay said the repairs would only close the street for a couple of days. 

The hope is to start construction in November in order to avoid Winter weather.
