Health Care Law: What Small Businesses Need to Know

Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.) is hosting an event designed for small business owners who want to learn more about navigating changes to health care law.

The discussion, “Navigating the Affordable Care Act: Make Health Reform Work for Your Company,” takes place Aug. 1 at Alexandria’s Landmark Mall in the community room, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Taylor Burke, a program director with George Washington University’s School of Public Health and Health Services, will share what small businesses need to know to comply with the Affordable Care Act including opportunities benefits, and challenges of the law.

The event is held in collaboration with Alexandria Small Business Development Center, Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, Arlington Chamber of Commerce, Fairfax Chamber of Commerce, Falls Church Chamber of Commerce, Community Business Partnership, and Mason Small Business Development Center.
