High Turn-Out in Parts of Kingstowne Could Benefit Murray

If you live in Hayfield, Villages, Island Creek, or Kingstowne precincts, congratulations—you're critical to Patrick Murray's plan for an upset win over incumbent congressman Jim Moran (D-8).

According to Mike Lane, Murray's campaign manager, those are the four precincts in the Kingstowne area his campaign hopes will have high turn-out.

"Anything else we're willing to split," Lane said.

The Murray campaign did not expect this many voters in today's election, according to Lane.

"Somebody's base is more motivated than they're supposed to be," Lane said. "And we're not sure whose yet."
