Patch Parent Co. Spent $800K on Virginia Candidates

So far this year, AOL has given money to Chap Petersen and Mark Herring.

Patch's parent company, AOL, spent just under $800,000 on Virginia campaign contributions since 1997. So far, this year's contributions have gone to Chap Petersen and Mark Herring, both local candidates for state senate.

"As a major Virginia employer, AOL supports candidates for state office who advocate sound, pro-technology, policies in Richmond," said Lauren Hurvitz of AOL Corporate Communications.
