Telegraph Road Area Closures this Week

The Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project will conduct more closures in the Telegraph Road area the week of Jan. 3. Here are the areas that will be closed and could lead to delays. 

Telegraph Road Area Closures

Wednesday, Jan. 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.:

• The right shoulder on the ramp from the Eisenhower Connector to the Capital Beltway Outer Loop (I-95/495 North) will be closed for roadway construction. The on-ramp lane remains open. 

Wednesday, Jan. 4 and Thursday, Jan. 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Friday, Jan. 6 from 9 a.m. to noon:

• The Capital Beltway Inner Loop (I-95/495 South) ramp to Telegraph Road South will be closed to set light pole foundations. Detour: Motorists should take the Eisenhower Connector exit to Eisenhower Avenue East to left on Mill Road to Telegraph Road South.

Mill Road Closures

Tuesday, Jan. 3 at noon through Saturday, Jan. 7 at 5 p.m.:

• One lane of Mill Road North where it connects to Telegraph Road South will be closed continuously to complete the installation of safety features including guardrails, barriers and curbs. One northbound lane will remain open.
