VIDEO: GOP Candidates for Attorney General, Lt. Governor Speak at Local Forum

The Lee District Republican Committee and Colonial Republican Women hosted a candidate forum for lieutenant governor and attorney general candidates from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday.

Republican candidates for lieutenant governor and attorney general spoke Thursday night to a group of about 50 people at the candidate forum hosted by the Lee District Committee and Colonial Republican Women at the Virginia Hills Center in Alexandria.

For candidates unable to attend, a representative spoke on their behalf. All nine campaigns were represented during the event. A representative from the Ken Cuccinelli campaign was confirmed earlier in the week but was unable to attend. Virginia Attorney General Cuccinelli is running for governor.

The video above shows the candidates or their representatives providing some information about their campaigns and the candidates' platforms.
