Community Update

We recently moved my 3 year-old and kindergartener out of RHA. We initially enrolled in RHA because of the fantastic tour and great plans for programs programs. Now we regret ever sending them. The 3 year old room, after care and office staff had constant turnover. My son had an excellent kindergarten teacher but she moved away. We have since enrolled him in Fairfax County Schools and regret not sending him to public school from the start. You can't compare the resources and programs in the public schools. The public school curriculum is every bit as challenging as RHA and they have more opportunities for technology, arts and enrichment. He is so much happier having a innovation (computer) lab, music class, art class, the list goes on and on. Communication varied by teacher, but was an issue. I would not recommend RHA for preschool or kindergarten.
