Alexandria Mom Wins Totino's Contest

Susan Melendez of Alexandria is one of eight winners in the 2012 Totino's Fun-Atic of the Year Contest.

Totino's has named Selena Melendez of Alexandria one of the eight winners of the 2012 Totino's Fun-Atics of the Year, according to a recent news release. As a winner, Melendez will receive 10,000 Bonus Box Tops for Education, and she will be featured on the packages of Totino's Party Pizzas throughout the beginning of 2013.

Melendez is an avid Box Tops collector, and her 10,000 Bonus Box Tops for Education — valued at $1,000 — will be awarded to Cameron Elementary School.

"Cameron Elementary is a Title 1 funded school so $1,000 will go a long way,” Melendez said. She said she hopes the funds will help in the enhancements of the school's Fun Room.
